How we estimate emissions
Estimates come from Google's Travel Impact Model, an open methodology used across the travel industry. For nonstop flights we estimate the specific flight. For connecting itineraries we estimate from the route distance and label it as an estimate. All figures are per passenger in economy.
The dark tick on each bar shows the typical flight on that route, so you can see at a glance whether an option is cleaner or heavier than usual.
How we earn
We are free to use. When you book a flight, hotel or visa through our partners, they may pay us a commission. It never changes the price you pay.
Flight prices come from recent searches by travellers and are confirmed on the booking site before you pay. Visa applications are handled by our partner iVisa.
